Craig Jeffries


Craig Jeffries is the co-founder, President and CEO of Jemez Technology. Jemez provides advanced video surveillance software for corporate and homeland security, with a focus critical infrastructure protection. The company’s innovative Eagle-i Enterprise™ and Eagle-i Edge® software has been successfully installed across the globe. Prior to Jemez, Jeffries held executive positions at global technology firms, including Hewlett Packard, Allied Signal, Honeywell International, KLA–Tencor, and Advanced Energy Industries. He began his career as an engineer at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Jeffries has an M.S. Finance from the University of Denver and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, from the University of California, Irvine.

Joe Vitalone

Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

As Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Joe Vitalone manages and oversees the growth and success of sales and marketing initiatives for Jemez Technology. He brings more than 35 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development, spanning industries including telecom, videoconferencing, and video security. Prior to Jemez, Vitalone was Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Razberi Technologies, who makes intelligent video surveillance appliances. Previously, Vitalone was President of the Americas for Mitel, and Vice President, Worldwide Channel Marketing at ShoreTel, assisting these companies in hitting their all-time stock market and 52-week high during that period. Vitalone’s sales and marketing background working with a variety of technological companies poses him to effectively operate and manage Jemez’s expanding sales and marketing initiatives.

Vitalone graduated from Western Kentucky University, and is an annual guest lecturer at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, where he has given award-winning lectures on the topics of Sales, Marketing and Human Networking

Mel Duran

Chief Technology Officer

As co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, Mel Duran developed Jemez’s patented technology and is responsible for leading the company’s technical vision and guiding the team in the development and continued enhancement of their robust solutions. He brings to Jemez Technology more than 30 years of experience in the development and optimization of sophisticated imaging and detection instrumentation and systems. As a former Los Alamos Laboratory Division Leader, Duran also has over 15 years’ experience managing multidiscipline engineering groups. This technical experience and knowledge combined with a strong management and leadership background is a driving force in the company’s creation of industry-leading software.

Duran is a graduate of the University of New Mexico with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

Blake Pyle

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Blake Pyle is focused on accelerating growth and streamlining operations to support scalability while ensuring the financial health of Jemez Technology. He has almost 30 years of financial and operational experience, including more than 20 years in senior financial leadership roles. Pyle most recently served in executive capacities as COO for a startup company, CFO of CRS Solutions and Senior VP of Finance for EVO Payments International. Previously, Pyle co-founded Encore Payment Systems and four affiliated companies, where he served as CFO. During his tenure, the combined Encore entities grew to more than 300 employees, 30,000 customers and over $40 million in annual revenue. In his career, Pyle has been instrumental in merger and acquisition activities as well as exit planning for businesses including Encore, EVO, CRS Solutions, Certified Merchant Services and Home Interiors & Gifts.

Pyle received his Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, where he was also co-captain of the baseball team.

Douglas Kramp

Managing Partner – ReignRock Capital Partners

Douglas Kramp is a Managing Partner of Dallas-based private equity firm ReignRock Capital Partners. He brings a wealth of experience to Jemez Technology, and has a track record of leading, operating, and transforming public and privately held companies in industries varying from fashion accessories and home services to telecommunications and internet security. Previous experience includes Senior VP, Special Markets, Digital Direct and Marketing for Fossil, as well as serving as CEO of, an internet security company Kramp took public along with two other executives.

Kramp graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Geology.

Steven Ganss

Managing Partner – ReignRock Capital Partners

Steven Ganss is a Managing Partner for Dallas-based private equity firm ReignRock Capital Partners. Ganss has significant capital markets experience, spending 12 years as an investment banker as well as five years in PE, completing transactions across multiple industries exceeding $2 Billion. Prior to co-founding ReignRock Capital Partners, Ganss co-founded North American Spine, a healthcare company in which he served as the CFO for six years. In his role as CFO, Ganss oversaw the company’s financial and operational development from 4 employees with zero revenues to over 100 employees at the time of its sale to Nobilis Health Corp. (ticker: HLTH) in December of 2014. This exit resulted in an ROI of more than 50x to the owners. Previously, Mr. Ganss consulted with boards of directors on behalf of clients concerning strategic advisory/alternatives analysis and  broad corporate strategy. Ganss brings both operational and financial expertise to his role as a board member with a focus on building companies and engendering franchise value.

Ganss received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Baylor University.
